Quality Control Program

DMD are fully committed to quality control and quality improvement. We have therefore developed a program which includes quality control processes and polices along with an active quality improvement element. Quality Improvement includes ongoing mentoring and training. DMD’s Quality Control program has been certified by the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) to meet the requirements of their Organizational Quality Management (OQM) Program.

Organizations employing EGBC professionals have a significant influence on the practice of the professions. To address this influence EGBC has developed the OQM program and certification for the quality management of professional engineering and geoscience practices.

Safety Program

DMD are committed to safety and as such have a defined safety program and certification. This program has been set-up and developed as per the Province of Alberta Certificate of Recognition (COR) requirements and as such DMD has COR certification. The COR is an occupational health and safety accreditation program that verifies a fully implemented safety & health program which meets national standards.  The objectives of COR are to provide industry employers with an effective safety and health management system to reduce incidents, accidents and injuries as well as their associated human and financial costs. Please see a sample COR certificate below. COR gets renewed and updated on an annual basis.

Employee Development Program

DMD have implemented an ongoing Employee Development Program (EDP). This program includes ongoing mentoring and training by senior staff. Staff are also offered industry developmental courses and have opportunities to attend seminars and conferences. DMD also provide employee feedback via performance reviews in positive environment aimed at an individuals development.
