DMD is committed to reducing impacts to vulnerable road users via improved street lighting design. As such in the late summer and early fall DMD will be directly involved with a number of significant NCHRP roadway lighting research projects. These projects will have a significant impact on visibility and how roadway lighting is best applied to improve safety. We will keep you posted.
