DMD undertake projects as a sub-consultant to architectural and civil engineering firms or work under direct contract with the client. Our main regions of practice include western Canada and the Western United States, although we frequently take our specialized services throughout North America. BC Hydro Customer Build Program was developed to improve service to developers and civil consultants. Starting in November 2012, developers of residential projects in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island may retain the services of Customer Build Certified Service Providers such as DMD Power Engineering Ltd to deliver turnkey design, project management, material procurement and construction of underground residential distribution (URD) infrastructure for takeover by BC Hydro.
