Incorporated in May 2000, DMD have reached their 6,000th project. This milestone was achieved in our 17th year of operation. Over the years we have not deviated from our core value which is to treat all our clients and projects, whether small or large, with the same level of service and quality. A light-emitting diode, or LED, is a type of solid-state lighting that uses a semiconductor to convert electricity into light. Today’s LED bulbs can be six-seven times more energy efficient than conventional incandescent lights and cut energy use by more than 80 percent. Consultants at a large firm is the US, have estimated that the United States could save 662 trillion British thermal units—the energy needed to power 5.8 million homes for one year—by converting all remaining non-LED outdoor lighting to LEDs. A natural part of our culture at DMD is Training & Development. As a DMD employee, we have the option to participate in different training opportunities such as conferences, seminars, webinars, mentorship groups and in-house training sessions. We hold in-house “Lunch & Learn” training sessions that are open to all employees, no matter the job they hold at DMD. These training sessions range from a variety of different topics relating to soft skills or technical lessons.
